Q. Why do I have to schedule a donation?

A. Donation appointments and size limits have been set in place in order to keep the volume of donations coming in consistent with the amount our dedicated volunteers are able to safely weigh, sort, price, test and package in our 8ft x 8ft receiving area. The San Antonio community has been incredibly generous in their giving of materials with no end in sight. We have takin in over 70,000 pounds of materials since opening the Center for Creative Reuse! We are constantly looking for ways to accept more donations from the community but for now, the scheduling system is what currently works best.
