Bubble Fest at Home SA Magazine

Since Ruby City can’t host hundreds of families on its grounds, it’s taking this annual fest online and inviting locals to get crafty at home. Tune in for digital tutorials on making bubbles, encouraging creative play and more thanks to videos by Ruby City and Spare Parts, a nonprofit arts education organization. This event was postponed from earlier in the summerSaturday, 9 a.m.-5 p.m. facebook.com/events

Friends of Spare Parts is pleased to announce an award of $8,000 from the John L. Santikos Charitable Foundation of the San Antonio Area Foundation. This grant money will be used for general operating expenses regarding Spare Parts programs and general expenditures. 

Spare Parts Selected as a Charity of Choice during 2019 San Japan Anime Convention

Spare Parts is pleased to announce that we’ve been selected as one of San Japan XII – 2019 Anime Convention’s Charities of Choice on August 30-September 1.

All San Japan Charities of Choice will also be equal beneficiaries of the silent auction, live auction, masquerade tickets, and other charitable endeavors. Drop off any contributions at the San Japan Info Desk, Charity Booth, or SJ Cares Booth during the convention.
